Think you’ve got what it takes? This messy, mouthwatering showdown is one of the most entertaining stops at Horseshoe Harvest Hangout — and it’s completely free to enter. Two rounds, ten spots each, and only one winner per round walks away with bragging rights and a prize. Whether you’re competing or just watching from the sideline, this is one you don’t want to miss.

Contests take place on Saturday, October 31, 2026 at the Barney Pavilion.

Round 1: 2:00 PM (Check-in 1:00–1:45 PM)
Round 2: 4:00 PM (Check-in 3:00–3:45 PM)

Spots are limited to 10 contestants per round — and free food from a great local restaurant goes fast. Sign up below to reserve your seat!

CONTEST RULES & GUIDELINES

This is a timed eating contest. Each round lasts two (2) minutes.
No hands and no utensils — sliders must be eaten face-first only.
The contestant who finishes all of their sliders in the fastest time wins. If no contestant finishes all sliders within the two-minute window, the contestant who has eaten the most at time’s end wins.
All contestants must be checked in at the Barney Pavilion by the check-in deadline for their round. Late arrivals may forfeit their spot.
Contestants must remain seated for the duration of the contest.
Any contestant who does not follow the no-hands/no-utensils rule will be disqualified.
The contest host’s decision is final in all matters including tie-breaking.
Participation is at the contestant’s own risk. Please be mindful of any food allergies or dietary restrictions prior to signing up. Sliders are provided by Queen Creek Public House Bar & Cafe and contain beef.

Rules of Entry

To participate, complete the entry form below with your name and phone number. Each contestant is limited to one contest time slot per event.
Please arrive at the slider eating contest area between 15–45 minutes before your scheduled time and check in with staff at the contest table. If you have not checked in within 5 minutes of your contest start time, your spot may be given to another contestant.
If you sign up and are unable to attend, please let us know by replying to your confirmation email or reaching out through the contact page on this website. Even a same-day heads up is appreciated — spots are limited and there are always people who would love to take your place!
