Mutton Busting is the perfect way for young cowpokes to kick off their rodeo careers. Riders will climb aboard a sheep and hold on tight for an unforgettable ride! Signup below to enter before spots fill up!
LIMITED TO 50 RIDERS PER DAY!
Location: Arena 3 (covered and shaded)
Check-in: 12:00 PM
Event Start: 1:00 PM
Entry Fee: $30 per ride

Thank you to Chapman Livestock for bringing out the sheep!
How It Works
Sheep are loaded into the chute and the rider climbs on. When the gate opens, the sheep takes off and the rider hangs on for as long as possible. Each ride is an exciting and memorable experience. At the end of the weekend, the rider with the longest hold time will be named the Grand Champion Mutton Busting Rider and awarded the Grand Champion Buckle.
Buckles are given on the day of the ride.
The Grand Champion Buckle will be awarded Sunday after the final rides.
Entry Benefits
– Every entry receives an Official Mutton Busting Buckle (adult size to last as your rider grows).
– Riders can enter once or multiple times. Each entry earns a buckle. Extra buckles can be given to family or friends.
– One Grand Champion Buckle will be awarded Sunday to the rider with the longest hold of the weekend.
Thank you to Broughton Belts for sponsoring the Mutton Busting and providing the Buckles! They look amazing!
